A US-Russian space crew landed in the steppes of Kazakhstan on Sunday after an eight-month stint on the International Space Station. ⁣ ⁣ Shortly after touching down to Earth, NASA astronaut Chris Williams held a traditional Russian doll Matryoshka look-a-like. ⁣ ⁣ Russian crewmates Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev also landed safely in the Russian Soyuz MS-28 space capsule. ⁣ ⁣ Washington and Moscow have continued to work together, with US and Russian crews flying to the orbiting outpost on each country’s spacecraft. ⁣ ⁣ #NASA #Roscosmos #RussianDoll #ChrisWilliamson #SoyuzMS-28
