I had serious knee injuries at a very young age, multiple surgeries, ligament replacements, cartilage damage and patellar luxation. For a long time, sport felt like something I had to fight for instead of something I could simply do. Running always felt like the one thing my knees hated the most. After I stopped playing tennis as a player, I also struggled with running because every step reminded me of what my knees had been through. For years, it felt like something my body would not allow me to enjoy. Now I am slowly building a new relationship with it. Not every run feels good, and my knees still have their problems, but I am handling the pain better than I used to. And let me tell you that, moving your body is a daily blessing, pls never take that for granted. oneractive krissycela one dayyy or day one šŸŠ Shoes: nikerunning #runningmotivation #runninggirl #kneerecovery #womensfitness #runclub
