A reunion no one will forget. 💙 At the 2026 WMCHealth Trauma Symposium, nearly 300 healthcare professionals, EMS providers and community partners gathered to advance trauma care across the Hudson Valley. This event was hosted in partnership with nymcschoolofmed. One of the most powerful moments came when trauma survivor Yarmine Jimenez reunited with Doug Morton, the off-duty nurse who helped save her life and the life of her unborn son after a traumatic incident at the Croton train station. Their story reminded us that trauma care is truly a team effort, from the scene of an emergency to recovery and beyond.
