So buckle up buddy and prepare to have your bogs socks knocked off! 🤯 🌧️ Bogs are a squishy, squelchy rain-loving type of peatland, and we have 3 types of bogs in the UK; blanket bogs, raised bogs and quaking bogs.   🇬🇧 Blanket bogs cover almost 2.5 million hectares of the UK uplands, the largest and most intact found in northern Scotland and the Western Isles.   🌳 Peatlands are incredible carbon-storing powerhouses!
