The Sharpest of Arrows * kimi.antonelli . . . I wanted this project to feature clean, minimal compositions while still feeling raw through the use of grit and texture. The flow and design of an F1 car are so distinctive and beautifully sculpted that I felt the compositions themselves should remain simple, allowing those shapes to speak for themselves. To create contrast, I leaned into dirt, scratches, and worn textures to reflect the battles, overtakes, and tyre marks that define a race weekend. This project was a lot of fun, although it took some time to get everything right. I went through countless images, replacing many along the way because they just didn’t feel right. I also wanted to incorporate Kimi’s Italian heritage while fully embracing the Mercedes colour palette of silver, black, and light blue throughout the designs.
