#SharksonRED with Andy Casagrande (abc4explore) I captured this image more than 15 years ago in South Africa while working on a research project with the White Shark Trust. It remains one of my favorite photographs because it reveals the stealth, elegance, intelligence, and raw beauty of the great white shark. These remarkable predators use every sense they possess in pursuit of one fundamental goal: survival. Great whites are far more fragile than most people realize. When you truly get to know them, you discover that they are among the most calculated, cautious, and polite predators on Earth. I love sharks more than humans.
