Sixty-year-old Kenneth Sanders started CrossFit in 2011. Thirteen years later, his training would help him excel at a new sport.⁣ ⁣ In 2024, Sanders started racing cars in endurance races as part of the World Racing League, requiring his team of two to race a car at 130 mph for up to 12 hours.⁣ ⁣ “It’s very taxing, mentally and physically,” Sanders said. “CrossFit has enabled me to be able to handle the physicality and heat associated with long stents (two to three hours) in the car at race pace.”⁣ ⁣ facefixr crossfit_sbc #masterscrossfitgames #learnandplaynewsports
