Last week I climbed Pyramid Peak for the second time, but it was my first summit mission in over 4 years… the first since becoming a mom.
Postpartum kicked my butt and then life got busy… full-time corporate job, chasing a toddler, traveling a lot for work… But last year I got consistent with one thing: rebuilding my strength. I’ve been consistently showing up to the studio to train an average of 3 days a week for exactly 52 weeks now.
Even though I’ve been feeling so much stronger this summer, I was still so intimidated to attempt this summit again. I felt confident I could do it but expected it to destroy me. Heck, even before kids it kicked my butt so how could it not?!
