This is a tough one to write…
Today I played in a memorial match for an incredible 11-year old boy, George Dennis, who tragically lost his life on July 10th.
When I heard about the match, I offered to play as I thought there may be many of George’s friends there that probably watch our content, hoping to share as much love with them as possible during this unimaginable time.
When I arrived, I felt sad and if I’m honest a little nervous about what I was walking into. But what I found was a community united by one thing and that’s Love!
I heard so many beautiful stories about George, his love for Spurs, what a talented footballer he was, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. It broke my heart when George’s older sister, Lauren told me that George and her son, Bobby used to watch the Wingrove’s videos together. Hearing that left me feeling gutted that I never got the chance to meet George or do something for him while he was here.
