Congratulations to Jeff Kent ‘88, who was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame today in Cooperstown. After competing in the 1988 College World Series with the California Golden Bears, Kent headed to Cotuit, where he spent the summer playing for the Kettleers. Kent holds the record for home runs by a second baseman in major league history (377), and today, he’s forever immortalized in baseball history alongside Carlos Beltran and Andruw Jones.
