I was just 20 years old when I went abroad to travel for 3 months… It was a “no boys trip” but less than 2 weeks into my trip, I met Dom and I went “uh oh”. I knew he was trouble — in the best possible way 🤭 Exactly 1 month later, we moved in together in Sydney where we lived and worked on a working holiday visa (WHV) 🦘 The following year, we did the same thing in New Zealand 🇳🇿 Then in Denmark (where I’m from), then in Prague, and then in Canada 🇨🇦 Fast forward 10 years and we’ve now travelled and lived in 30+ countries, have started our travel creator business, and last year, we had our dream wedding in Madeira 🥹 So many things had to go wrong in order for us to meet (or go right if you look at it from a positive point of view), and we both had to make personal sacrifices to make it work.
