Former UFC fighter and current MMA analyst Anthony Smith was ordered held on a $500,000 bond Wednesday after prosecutors outlined new allegations stemming from a domestic violence case in Sarpy County. Smith, 38, appeared in Sarpy County Court on charges of domestic violence causing serious bodily injury, first-degree false imprisonment and terroristic threats. Judge George Thompson set bond at $500,000 and ordered Smith to have no contact with his wife as a condition of his release. He also cannot leave Nebraska without court approval. During Wednesday’s hearing, prosecutors alleged the incident began Sunday night after Smith was removed from a concert during Gretna Days following an altercation. According to prosecutors, Smith threatened to kill his wife if she did not get into his vehicle and return home with him.
