Nebraska volleyball will begin its 2026 season on one of the sport's biggest stages.
The Huskers will face Florida in the inaugural Spikes Under the Lights showcase on Aug. 27 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, marking the first women's collegiate sporting event to be played at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Nebraska and Florida are scheduled to open the event at 7 p.m. CT. Penn State and SMU will meet in the second semifinal, with the winners advancing to a championship match later that evening.
The event features a $1 million prize purse, the largest ever awarded in women's college sports, as the sport continues to see record attendance, television viewership and national interest.
The showcase opens a challenging nonconference schedule for the Huskers.
