Paolo, Deputy Cargo Director in our Dubai office, recently oversaw the movement of two oversized construction machines on board an Antonov AN-124. Weighing around 40 tonnes each and measuring close to 20 metres in length, the operation required detailed planning, precision handling and close coordination throughout. The cargo was carefully loaded through the aircraft’s open nose using cranes and rail systems, showcasing the unique capabilities of one of the world’s largest cargo aircraft.
