A Life in Practice and Community.
Meet Dana Lam – writer, feminist, grandmother, and visual artist. Across six decades, she has quietly shaped Singapore's cultural and social landscape: from leading AWARE through two terms as President, to publishing Days of Being Wild and The Art of Being a Grandmother: An Incomplete Diary of Becoming, and receiving Silver for the UOB Painting of the Year award in 2024.
Exploring themes of renewal, gender, more-than-human relations, grief, and memory, Dana’s first-ever solo exhibition inaugurates The AGEncy Fest, as a fitting demonstration of the indomitable spirit of 60+ individuals.
