Our Artistic Director Ong Keng Sen was the earliest to direct and stage pop musicals in Singapore over a decade from 1988 until 1998. Keng Sen re-gazed at the pop musical scene in 2012 with the 10th anniversary commission from the Esplanade and has remained engaged with the potential futures of singapop into the present.
