The 407th Army Field Support Brigade welcomed a new commander during a change of command ceremony July 14 at the 13th Armored Corps Sustainment Command Chapel at Fort Hood. Col. Carper McMillan took command of the 407th AFSB from Col. Stacy Moore-Callaway in front of Soldiers, families and senior leaders from across the installation. Maj. Gen. Eric Shirley, commanding general of U.S. Army Sustainment Command, presided over the ceremony and passed the brigade’s colors to McMillan, symbolizing the formal transfer of authority.
