José Mejía of the Hillsboro Hops has found his offensive groove as of late as the Hops dig themselves out of a down streak at the onset of the second half of the season. On Thursday at Hillsboro Hops Ballpark against the Vancouver Canadians, Mejía had quite the night going two-for-three at bat, scored two runs, and hit four RBIs including a three run homer over the right-center field wall to break a 5-5 tie, eventually giving the Hops an 8-5 win over the Canadians.
