It’s that time of year when teams begin gauging the trade market, and the Mets appear to be open for business. According to reports, New York is willing to listen on players with expiring contracts, including Freddy Peralta, A.J. Minter, and Brooks Raley ahead of the deadline. As of now, no teams have been linked to either Raley or Minter. Peralta, however, has been the subject of trade speculation for more than a month. The Cubs and Brewers have both been mentioned as potential suitors for the right-hander.
