Rescue crews are searching for someone believed to have gone missing in the Potomac River south of Great Falls. Teams from Fairfax, Loudoun and Montgomery counties rushed to the river Tuesday at about 2 p.m. Chopper4 images show their rescue boats. No additional information was immediately released. Two young people died in separate accidents in the river earlier this summer. In June, 20-year-old Nazir Bell, a rising senior at Towson University, was found dead after swimming near the Billy Goat Trail with friends. Earlier this month, a 16-year-old was found dead after swimming with friends in the Sandy Landing area.
