Giunta's Meat Farms will acquire the King Kullen Grocery Co., including 24 King Kullen supermarkets. Giunta's will also acquire King Kullen's four Wild by Nature natural food stores in the deal, which is expected to close in September, subject to customary closing conditions, King Kullen said. Until the deal closes, both companies will continue to operate independently. No employees are expected to be laid off, King Kullen said. More at the link in bio.
