Adam Copeland will make his Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling debut at MLP Northern Rising on Saturday, October 3, at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, the Toronto Metropolitan University venue formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens. Copeland announced it himself on the latest episode of MLP's weekly series MLP Mayhem. The segment is available on MLP's social media platforms. Copeland is an eleven-time world champion and currently holds the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Christian Cage. He was born and raised in Orangeville, Ontario, northwest of Toronto, and the date will mark his first time competing in the building where he attended his first wrestling show. "My television watching as a child came out of Maple Leaf Gardens," Copeland said, adding that MLP is bringing history back to professional wrestling in Canada.
