10-year-old me would be so excited to see I’ve made golf friends as an adult. A few weekends ago, Fore the Ladies brought 15 women with us to play Inverness Club, host of the 2027 uswomensopen. The day before our FTL Field Trip to Inverness, I stood in downtown Toledo for the arrival of the U.S. Women’s Open trophy! Inverness hosts next year, the first time it will host a women’s USGA championship. Then on Saturday, our group teed off for a little preview of the historic course: 18 holes and dinner together to close it out.
