People ready to lead, serve and commit their energy to something greater than themselves shaped America’s birth and growth over the past 250 years. #Scouts are our nation’s leaders of tomorrow.   This past weekend during the Americana Extravaganza at the #NationalJamboree, Scouts explored the Freedom 250 Mobile Museum, stepped into the revolutionary era through living-history demonstrations and joined fireside chats with mayors, legislators and other civic leaders from across the country.   At the Commitment Wall – inspired by the courage of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence – Scouts made personal promises of leadership, citizenship and service. Sharing how they hope to strengthen their communities and shape America’s next 50 years, youth also recorded messages for a Digital Time Capsule.
