The UC Board of Regents continued discussion around reinstating standardized testing, solidifying its timeline for studying college readiness and hearing public comment at its regular meeting last week at UCSF. Chair of the Board of Regents Maria Anguiano named redefining college readiness as one of her guiding priorities for the UC system in the next year. “The goal of this review is not to rehash old questions or data, but an opportunity to take a fresh look at how we define and evaluate college readiness in a rapidly changing world,” Anguiano said in the meeting.
