Shhh... 🤫🗽 Can we take a second to talk about this view?! Swipe to see us looking like tiny humans next to a literal giant! 🤯👣We took the girls to the Newport waterfront and were completely blown away by Water’s Soul by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa.
Standing right under this massive 80-foot-tall masterpiece is one of those deeply humbling, stop-you-in-your-tracks kind of art experiences. It’s crafted from polyester resin and marble dust, and it actually traveled all the way from Barcelona in 23 shipping containers to get here! 🚢🎨With her eyes closed and a finger to her lips, she is gently “shushing” the loud, bustling NYC skyline across the Hudson River. 🤫🏙️
Plensa designed it to remind us all to pause, quiet our minds, and reflect. It’s a beautiful reminder that while we are individuals, we all flow together as one community. 🌊🤍
So grateful for days like this, making memories with my girls and sharing it with my favorite fellow mama and her mini-me! kristaaragona 👩👧👩...
