Dan Ticktum finally claimed his long-awaited victory, Nyck de Vries mastered a chaotic, rain-affected second race, and Jake Dennis produced two podium finishes to leave Japan as the new championship leader. With Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein close behind and Oliver Rowland still in contention the title fight now heads to London for an unforgettable season finale. The weekend also carried enormous emotion following the passing of Citroën Racing Team Principal Cyril Blais.
