YSC Head of School Dr. Nooha Ahmed-Lee recently had the opportunity to present to the Union coaches on “How Players Learn: Coaching the Developing Adolescent Brain”, and it was a special reminder of why we do this work. Sitting in the audience were three yscacademy alumni who are now coaching with the Philadelphia Union: Tiger Graham (‘16), Jalen Weatherspoon (‘18), and Emmanuel Perez. (‘16) Watching them grow from student-athletes into coaches who are now developing the next generation is incredibly rewarding.
