The body of 33-year-old Ivan Perez of Pasadena, Texas, was found Tuesday in the 5100 block of Washington Street in Downers Grove, authorities said. A probable cause of death was listed as "drowning," pending toxicology. "Our office would like to express our deepest condolences to Ivan Perez's family, friends, and coworkers," the DuPage County Coroner's office said in a statement. Perez was one of two contractors who became trapped in a storm sewer during Monday’s severe weather. One of them was rescued, but Perez died.
