A heavy police presence and apparent rescue effort was underway in Downers Grove Monday as heavy storms pummeled the region. NBC Chicago cameras captured a large response from first responders, with footage appearing to show multiple people being pulled from a storm drain near Washington Curtiss, though it was not clear who those people were. Some were seen being loaded onto stretchers. #rescue #downersgrove #storm #chicago
