A herd of elephants is about to take over Back Bay. From August 8 through September 13, The Great Elephant Migration will bring 100 life-sized elephant sculptures to Commonwealth Avenue Mall for a free outdoor public art exhibition. Visitors can walk through the herd, experience the installation up close, and learn about the exhibition’s message of wildlife conservation and human-animal coexistence. The installation will stretch along Commonwealth Avenue Mall between Arlington Street and Fairfield Street, making it one of Boston’s most unique public art experiences of the summer. By the way, we have a weekly newsletter rounding up what’s worth doing and knowing about Boston. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio.
