Hear UNK Football speak at the MIAA football media day in Topeka, Kansas! It’s the unofficial kickoff of the season. Both the coaches and media picked Nebraska-Kearney to finish seventh in the conference this fall. The Lopers return 29 letter winners and 10 starters from last year’s 6-5 team, including All-MIAA center Carter Klein, linebacker Parker Wise and punter Marty Mormino. UNK also gets a major boost with the return of running back Isaiah Harris, who was averaging 140 rushing yards per game before a season-ending injury last fall.
