THE YANKEE PITCHING DOMINATES THE WHITE SOX IN GAME TWO! Gerrit Cole was excellent over six scoreless frames! His line: 6 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 7 K. Everything came easy for Cole tonight outside of some deep counts in the 4th but was still able to keep the White Sox off the scoreboard. The Yankee bullpen was perfect too — the trio of Chivilli, Headrick, and Bednar combined to get the final nine outs. Bednar ran into some trouble in the 9th but ultimately managed to get by with the save. Offense didn’t do a ton tonight but they did enough. Doubles from Volpe & Scheumann accounted for all three runs scored which all came in the second inning. Yankees are now 4-1 on this ten game trip.
