Trying out the @ddgirlswithcurls Ultra Hydrating line on my 4C hair/coils ➰ My thoughts after testing: Pros: * Each product is under $7 * Gives a firm hold when using a moderate amount of curl gel * The scent is light and pleasant  * Gives a nice hair coat shine when dry Cons: * Didn’t feel deeply moisturizing on my hair * Applying too much gel caused some flaking * By day 3, my hair felt noticeably dry and needed extra moisture For reference, my hair is low porosity, fine 4C, so product performance may vary depending on your texture and moisture needs.
