Immense joy, love, & protection…that’s the English Mastiff. Sure, the breed dates back to the Romans where they were taken from the English and bred as war dogs. BUT if socialized and trained properly, they can be a fantastic, loving family dog with just the right amount of protectiveness. Watch out for the shedding though and be ready for their size.
