Tonight in Coach Curt’s Corner, meet Kaysen — an incredibly strong and inspiring young athlete. After a bike fall in early September led to a life-threatening staph infection and sepsis, Kaysen was rushed to BC Children’s Hospital, spent 9 days on a breathing tube, and underwent multiple surgeries. After 72 days in hospital, he’s made a remarkable recovery — now back home, back in school, and back on the ice playing high-performance hockey.
