Terrifying dashcam footage shows a driver narrowly avoiding a falling power line during the EF-3 tornado that struck Appleton and Menasha in northeastern Wisconsin. The video captures trees, power lines and other debris coming down as the driver travels through dangerous conditions. Survey crews determined the tornado reached estimated peak winds of 140 mph, traveled 12.1 miles and grew as wide as 1,500 yards. The storm damaged homes and businesses across Appleton, Menasha, Neenah and Fox Crossing.
