Arizona’s legal limit is .08. DPS says this driver was on the Loop 101 at .441. It started in late June with several 911 calls about an impaired driver near Arrowhead. Troopers didn’t catch up to the vehicle until miles south near Camelback Road. The driver didn’t pull over. The car crashed into a wall and a sign while merging eastbound onto I-10 and that’s what ended it. Nobody was hurt. That part is pure luck. That’s a stretch of the 101 through the middle of the West Valley in a car that troopers say was being driven at five and a half times the limit, a level most people would be unconscious at. The driver is facing multiple felony charges. DPS still hasn’t released a name. The people who called it in did the right thing. Ever phoned 911 on a driver you were watching? Did anything come of it? Send us your stories to be featured on the page. #Glendale #Arizona #Loop101 #WestValley #ArizonaNews
