Prescott police say a Gilbert woman drove to her estranged husband’s Prescott home shortly before midnight after he refused to stop their divorce. The incident happened in September 2023, and we could not find any later public reporting explaining how the criminal case was resolved. Investigators said 62-year-old Christina Pasqualetto entered the 80-year-old’s bedroom and confronted him about ending their marriage. Police allege she injured him in the wrist while he was still in bed. Despite being injured, he reportedly fought her off, escaped to a neighbor’s house and called 911. He was flown to a Phoenix-area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said he also accused her of taking his checks, forging his signature and cashing one for $10,000. Investigators said she admitted to the forgery, and officers reportedly found the deposit slip in her purse.
