Two people are recovering in Chandler after three men allegedly forced their way into their home at 6 in the morning. It happened June 6 near Arizona Avenue and Elliot Road. According to court paperwork, an elderly man called police to say people had broken into his house and shot one of his daughters. Investigators say at least two men forced their way in and struck him in the head with a gun, then demanded his car keys. His daughter, who has a disability from a traumatic brain injury, was shot and taken to the hospital. Her father was hospitalized too.
