Before Scottsdale Fashion Square became one of Arizona’s biggest shopping destinations, the land looked completely different.
In the 1950s, the area near Scottsdale and Camelback was home to rodeo grounds. By 1961, it had transformed into a three-story open-air shopping center anchored by local stores like Goldwater’s and AJ Bayless.
Decades of expansions eventually turned it into the luxury mall Arizona knows today, with even more renovations and restaurants still on the way.
Do you remember Scottsdale Fashion Square before it looked like this? 👀
