CRAZY TRAVEL DAY STORY The family and I have had a great trip to Chicago…. But getting home has been a nightmare. Our flight yesterday got delayed due to weather… we delayed getting to the airport as a result (it was a one hour ride from hotel) and when we did get there yesterday… they cancelled our flight as I was printing bag tags. I got rebooked for today, also in the later afternoon. We had multiple delays today. We got to the airport. Delay. Delay. Delay. AMERICAN AIRLINES GLOBAL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION. Delayed more. Then, our flight was on the ground, they were going to get passengers off, clean it, and we’d board. Gate change. More delay. Same as above. As people started getting off that plane, slated for a 755p departure… CANCELLED. 😡 The flustered gate agent told us one flight a terminal over was still going to fly out to Orlando tonight, we could try our luck at the desk….
