@michelinmotorsport sent me the new Anakee Adventure 2 tires to test out on my trip to Sturgis this year! These tires have some upgrades from the original Anakee Adventure, including: Less road noise: Michelin testing shows a 30% drop in perceived road noise thanks to the new tread pattern Better grip: New silica-based compounds combined with Michelin 2CT Technology deliver better grip on wet surfaces. (I’ve had these tires for one day and so far I can absolutely tell a difference in the way the tire grips the road.) Better tire life: the new compound also provides a claimed +7% front and +21% rear increase in tire life (vs. original Anakee Adventure) This is an 80/20 tire, meaning it’s mostly meant for on-roading riding, but will still tackle a forest service road or gravel county road with ease.
