For most footballers, pre-season means returning to a club, reconnecting with teammates, and preparing for the season ahead. For players without a contract, it can be one of the most uncertain and isolating periods of the year. To help bridge that gap, the_PFA launched its first dedicated pre-season camp for out-of-contract Women’s Super League and Women’s Super League 2 players. Over two weeks, players trained in a professional environment while also receiving wellbeing, career, and personal development support, giving them the time, confidence and stability to make informed decisions about the next step in their careers.
