For Clinical Trials Day, we're celebrating the teams behind the breakthroughs. And this small but mighty team of nine nurses facilitates an average of 300 research visits per month with our patients!
Our Clinical Translational Research Center nursing team plays a major role in making clinical trials possible. This specialized group of certified nurses performs blood draws, infusions, medication administration and anything needed for each research protocol. This helps advance research for countless studies that are exploring everything from the restoration of ovulation for patients with polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (formerly known as PCOS) to the use of cellular therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and so much more.
