Prosecutors are seeking to play
#LilDurk’s 2021 “Pissed Me Off” music video and audio at his upcoming m-rder-for-hire trial, arguing it shows his alleged intent to “slide for Von.”
According to court filings, prosecutors want the song and video admitted as evidence, claiming the lyrics and visuals show Durk’s alleged willingness to retaliate following
#KingVon’s de-th.
In the song, Durk raps: “I lost bro, I can’t be happy ’til we creep up on the score,” and “I got k-llers that I love and they don’t rap / I got rappers that I love and they gon’ splat.”
The defense has previously pushed back against using rap lyrics as evidence in the case. A judge is expected to hear arguments over the motion on Aug. 13.
Durk’s m-rder-for-hire trial is scheduled to begin Aug. 20. He is accused of orchestrating a plot to k-ll
#QuandoRondo in 2022, which resulted in the de-th of Quando’s cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson. 👀
