#FacultyImpact: Morehouse College, along with a team of researchers at Stanford University, has been awarded the cooperative agreement as part of a new $400 million national initiative to build a network of AI-enabled, remotely operated laboratories.⁠ ⁠ The Morehouse team led by Dr. Juana Mendenhall, including senior personnel Dr. Sonya Dennis and Dr. Justin Ballenger, will coordinate the programmable cloud lab (PCL) user training during the four-year project. The award also brings together collaborators from Purdue University and Emerald Cloud Lab to advance automated scientific experimentation. The team also aims to develop shared standards that will allow researchers to exchange cloud-lab specifications across the broader network of 20 awardees.
