I didn’t step on the competition mats at Pans this year… but I got something I didn’t expect. I finally met aiden_wangbjj in person after being friends online for so long. 🥇 I spent the weekend hanging out with my team, seeing friends who traveled from all over the world, making new friends, and realizing this community is so much bigger than medals. The best part of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has never just been winning. It’s the people. The teammates who become family. The friends you only get to see a few times a year. The memories that make the long drives, early mornings, and hard training worth it.
