Cincinnati and Anderson Township resources extinguished a fire at the under-construction Farmer Music Center on July 29, officials said.
Workers were welding at the venue's construction site when a flame caught onto the insulation of the building, according to Cincinnati Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Craig Coburn.
The Cincinnati Fire Department received a call to the construction site just after 2 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the department. It was extinguished between 2:45 and 3 p.m., officials said.
No injuries were reported as of 3 p.m. At least five ambulances were visible on scene.
Doors are scheduled to open at 5:15 p.m. for a show at the adjacent Riverbend Music Center. The show is still on as of 4 p.m., according to Rosemarie Moehring, vice president of marketing for the management group.
