Q: Tell us about your job as a news writer. What do you love most about it?
A: As a news writer I have the opportunity to do many things every morning. I write news stories, work with reporters, make presentations for anchors to discuss during the morning newscast, help with breaking news, edit videos and so much more. Being a news writer gives me the chance to learn how to do everything, which is what I truly enjoy. I think it’s important to learn how to do as much as you can so you can help whenever needed. My favorite thing is that I get to do so much every day. I don’t have a day where I’m not juggling a lot, but I always feel great when a segment I produced gets on the air and looks perfect.
